Key Design Elements

Primary bathroom renovation, paint and flooring throughout

After losing her husband, my client faced the emotional decision to stay in the home they created together or move closer to her grown children. Ultimately, her love for the home, the memories it held, and her close-knit community led her to stay. With plans to age in place, she decided it was time to invest in her primary bathroom, transforming it into a space that would be functional, enjoyable for her daily life, and supportive of her future needs.

Designing with the next decade in mind presented challenges, but thoughtful planning enabled us to create a bathroom that will support the client’s needs as she ages. Knowing this space will provide safety, comfort, and enjoyment for years to come has made the process especially rewarding.
